Induction Programme
went to school early on fri, left early as well. cause the new staff had to attend a induction programme at st. patrick's on that day.
at 3:45pm, the group of 10 of us took the bus from our school to the school situated at east coast. wasnt exactly a long journey but it took us half an hour.
after registering and all we had a short intro followed by ice-breakers. i really regret wearing track pants and sports shoes on that day cause i looked more sporty they asked me to lie on the balloons. shoots. not that i was scared of balloons its just that i was afraid that the balloons will burst under my weight.
anyway that went through and after that was dinner.
after dinner we just sat there as the brothers share the story of our founder. hiaz... its a bit boring and i admit i nearly fell asleep.
after some sharing we were transported to island resort where we spent the night there. the arrangements had been well done i got to say. 2 of us shared a room and in it there is a single bed and a double bed.
sat we woke up, had breakfast at the place and went back to st. patrick's. after we left our bags there we were transported to toa payoh for some volunteer work.
we helped some of the one-room flat residence cleaned their flat. a very meaningful thing and i guess that's the best part of the whole induction.
after the cleaning was lunch and another round of talk. everything ended at 3:30pm and after that we took transport back to our school.
since there's only 6 of us and the bus was huge we get to sit alone and can stretch our legs after the two tiring days
