Rain and strange guy
hehe... the rain i mentioned here is not the korean star but literally rain as in raining.
finally after like a month of hot sun finally there's rain. actually it started raining some days back but now its like much cooler especially in the night.
didnt went to school yesterday cause had somethings to be done as well as lesson. in the morning went to do my stuff. then while i was waiting at the bus-stop for my bus to my next destination, a guy approached me.
he was driving and asked me for directions to a place. however i wasnt too familiar with that place so i told him i have no idea. i thought after that he would leave but he didnt. he lingered around then chatted with me. asked where i was going and if i wanted a lift. of course i rejected him and said our paths are different. after a while he asked if i have a mobile which he can contact me on. i was puzzled so i told him no but.... my phone rang! shit... i had no choice but to answer it cause it was ringing in my bag and it was just by my side. so i had no choice but to pick it up and answer it.
after i ended the call the guy asked for my number so i had no choice but to give him. i got to say he's smart as well. he said he'll give me a miss call so i'll have his number and he indeed called immediately. after another while, he left.
my bus arrived then i boarded to my destination. just as i reached, my phone rang and this guy called. the first thing he said was "where are you?" in my mind i was going like "excuse me, do i know you that well? and must i report my venue to you?"
anyway i acted innocent and asked who it was. he told me who he was and asked if i wanted to have dinner with him. i rejected him immediately and said that i'm very busy. after that he hung up the call.
later at night, he sent me a message and asked me for dinner tonight. i replied him saying i was busy and had appointments. after that i drifted off to sleep. the next thing i knew was my phone ringing and he's calling. i hit the ignore button and continue sleeping. stupid idiot, it was already past midnight for nuts sake and i need to sleep!!!
this morning he called me again but this time he used another number. smart guy. he asked me for dinner again and i told him i'm busy and without waiting for him to really end off i cut the call.
really cant stand him at all!!!
asked laywei just now, she suggested if the guy calls/sms again asking for dinner i should say this, "what is your aim in asking me out? are you trying to push sales? if yes, sorry i'm not interested and i have no money. if you want to woo me, then sorry i have no feelings for you." haha... but i like another thing she said. if the guy asked me for dinner then tell him this, "sorry, i have already arranged to meet my boyfriend for dinner." haha...
if that guy really call/sms again, i'm sure to try her suggestions. but seriously this guy is getting on my nerves. which part of my words he didnt understand? not free? or have appointments?
haiz... he is really pissing me off........

Holidays
its offically the school holidays!!!!
but still have to be back in school the whole of this week for reviews... haiz... my class results totally sucked. its like totally disguesting and really embarrassing to be presented out for the whole department.
but... no choice, still have to show and find out what's wrong as well as re-split the students.
the only good thing is from 8am to 5pm there's food provided 3 times and sometime in between meetings we can clear our things.
dont think i'll be going tomorrow cause need to go for organ make-up class. haiz.... but tomorrow its my group's turn to have lunch with the principal and there's appreciation session as well. sian arh...
well, time to send birthday wishes to my friends again... there's 2 today but i'll type separately.
HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY C!!!! (gal, always remember that no matter where you go i'll be there supporting you. we have been through so much and you certainly deserve a lot better. dont think too much and jia you!!!)

Last Day of school
yesterday was the last day of the school so that marks that i have been teaching for 5 months.
hiaz.. had a parents teachers meeting on thurs. met with quite a number of parents. all of them are nice people. although the students are naughty but i can truely feel that their parents care for them and want them to excel.
was in school at 7am and only ended at around 5pm. after that stayed behind to mark books as well as wait to have dinner with the other teachers from the chinese department.
at around 6:30pm we were on our way out of the school and to the restaurant at jurong east for our dinner.
as there's only like 3 cars and the 20 of us cant fit in so 6 of us went by train. had fun chatting with another 2 teachers on the way.
we had a room to ourselves as we made resevervations earlier. anyway dinner only started at around 8pm so we had to wait for the other teachers to arrive. but in the meantime we played with the karaoke system in the room and had a fun time.
the food served was really great. one of the teacher who was retiring treated everyone of us to a abalone each. had a lot of fun time at the dinner as we ate, chat and sang.
ended the session at around 9:30pm then we made our way home. luckily a fellow colleague lived in my area so she drove me home.
schol ended early on friday as they celebrated family's day. left shortly after so was really tired.
didnt do anything much today. just cleared the marking needed then took a nap cause was having cramps.
this last week of may quite a number of people celebrating their birthdays. so here's wishing a belated one to this person.

Funny Parents
i have this neighbour who are quite funny.
they have 3 boys. the eldest is 7 this year, we have a primary school opposite our flat but they sent him to another school some distance away but still in the area. everyday the boy will go to school on his own and back as well.
their door is closed most of the time. so when the boy comes home he'll call to his mum from the open window.
today when i came home from work with my dad, we saw the boy outside his flat. he didnt say anything but after we passed him i heard sniffing so i turned and looked at him. i realise that he was crying but my dad said maybe because his mum didnt open the door for him so we walked home.
but i realise something wrong. the family dont cook so they ordered cathering and the bag of food was still hanging outside. anyway my other neighbours started getting back and they realised the boy too so they asked him where his parents were and all. think they called them and invited the boy in but the boy was afraid that his mum might scold him so he dont want to enter.
in the end we have no choice but to get a stool for him to sit outside his house and kept an eye on him.
what's amazing is his parents. they only returned home nearly at 9pm. for nuts sake the boy didnt had his dinner yet and he was so scared.
i really wonder how his parents are thinking.

Weekends and the Holiday
went to school early Sat morning to bring 2 students to Ang Mo Kio for a competition. was late is arriving but luckily we still managed to reach in time. but something happened...
i wanted to pay by nets but the taxi driver didnt know so he printed the receipt for cash and i didnt have any cash on me so he said never mind.
but i called the cab company and arranged for the driver to come drive me again. thought can pay him back then but in the end still cant. feel so bad lah...
after that met chris at yew tee mac then went orchard to shop. hehe... had lunch @ wheelock's fish n co. after that went to far east to buy shoes.
but in the end beside the shoes also bought some other things. bought 2 rings and a magazine. aiyo, spent money again.
sun went grocery shopping with my parents and also bought lollipops for the kids in school. had dinner @ secret recipe then rushed back home to watch the charity show by taiwan for the sichuan earthquake. thought will have a lot of singing by the artistes but too bad dont have. they just urged for donations then went to help in answering the calls.
mon was a public holiday. didnt really went out. except to buy some things. spent money again on a book. hehe... oops... think i wanted to do a review for a book but forgot about it =p
will try to do it asap.
well, i guess that's all. another post coming up. hehe... =p

Mothers' Day
celebrated mothers' day yesterday.
didnt have any major celebration just treated my family to dinner at Swensens. after dinner walked around for a while then came back cause the baby by mum was looking after was celebrating his birthday and his mum was coming to my place for the cake-cutting
so after that we came home and waited for the baby's mum. didnt do anything much after that. a total boring weekend for me. nothing special at all.
had T'ang Quartet coming to the school today to perform during assessmbly. man, i just love them so much.... they sound so good. hehe... well, one of them wasnt too bad too. hehe... =p
anyway, just wishing someone a happy birthday here.

Germany
omg!!!! my mum might be going to germany at end may for 3 months!!!
in case u dont know the background, here's the info.
my mum started looking after a german kid since last oct. his dad is in germany and is a german but his mum is a singaporean chinese. then last dec he went back to germany for holiday. this coming end may he will be going back as well. according to his mum, he might be there for 6 months. yup. so that means my mum will be jobless for 6 months.
but today suddenly the kid's mum ask if my mother is she can accompany her for 3 months over there to look after the kid. she'll be sponsoring the airtickets. omg!!! 12 hours flight costing about S$1500. i want go as well!!! plus u dont need to fork out the money lor...
but my dad kinda not happy. he said if u go then the house how? haiz... so now still dont know if she'll be going. but i asked my organ teacher just now, he said its good to grab this opportunity. so might be persuading my dad to let my mum go if its really confirmed.
whoa... i suddenly admire my mum so much.....

Crying
haiz... nearly cried in school today in front of my 4 naughiest students...
just a brief note. this four students werent exactly naughty at first. at first there's only 2 naughty but when you cant stop them then 2 became 4. so i reported to my reporting officer and seek her advice. she suggested talking to them and calling their parents but i dont think really need to get their parents so i didnt call but of course wont get better with just threatening them. so everyday i endured and waited for them to shut up.
today my officer passed by my class and suddenly remembered that i had problems with them so she took them out and talked to them. dont know what they said but they went over to my side and apologised. i know they are not really naughty but are just mischievous. anyway, i said to them what i wanted. i said i dont want them to go EM3 and i believe they dont want it as well. anyway i got emotional and tears were threatening to fall and i believe they saw it. one of them cried and i pulled a tissue from my desk for him. haiz...
is today my crying day?
was watching one million star 2 on cable just now and was rather enjoying it until yuming (赖铭伟) sang Lesile Cheung's 追. i liked the song all while so was okay with it. then after he finished and the result was released, they realised that one of the judges Roger was crying so they asked him why. apparently Roger accompanied Leslie Cheung for his 30 concerts and they became great friends.
once Roger went to HongKong for work and didnt inform Leslie Cheung. when Leslie Cheung knew he called him and asked why he didnt visit and all. but as Roger was really busy he didnt meet him. a few days after that it was in the news that he was gone. haiz... then Roger went on and said as friends he didnt show enough concern for him.
suddenly it made me thought back of Darrel, sorry dear, i wasnt being a good friend to you as well. hope that you are good in the place that you are in now..... ...........

Mayday Concert
went to Mayday's concert in s'pore last saturday. whoa, and i got to say its really high!!!
there was a jam on the way to the concert but luckily we managed to reach before it started and went to the toilet before the whole thing begins.
since we're so free i managed a pic with my sis. haha... rare chance... we dont take pic together often =p
arh!!! i look so terrible. but she put make-up and i didnt =p
anyway the concert started around 8:15pm and i got to admit the starting's totally great!!!
they had something like the SDU team and they came down from the top into the crowd. let's see...

hehe... anyway... the concert started and within minutes almost all the audience stood up, including me. hehe... although my sis was the one who wanted to go but i had to pull her up from her seat. hehe...

i love this guitar performance by Stone and Monster. its great!!!
we bought good seats as in it was the most expensive and it was the second row. hehe... and most most important is that their second stage is just in front of us!!! hehe...
dont u like the way it appeared? i love it!!!
up-close and personal!!! hehe...
since it was just one day after masa's birthday, all of us sang b'day song for him too. i enjoyed the whole thing except for the 2 times where they went onto this 2nd stage. cause everyone from the back rushed to the front and the first 2 rows of us were squashed.
i know the view's good but please give us breathing space too.
shin's singing is really good and i vouch for it. he sang it right before my eyes. hehe...
this is the good thing about band. they have a lot of fun on stage and got us all really high.

we waited for a while cause there's really a lot of people. anyway after the concert my voice was so good that i felt like going out to sing. hehe...
the next concert i will go will most prob be FAHRENHEIT's!!! hehe...
