Last Day of school
yesterday was the last day of the school so that marks that i have been teaching for 5 months.
hiaz.. had a parents teachers meeting on thurs. met with quite a number of parents. all of them are nice people. although the students are naughty but i can truely feel that their parents care for them and want them to excel.
was in school at 7am and only ended at around 5pm. after that stayed behind to mark books as well as wait to have dinner with the other teachers from the chinese department.
at around 6:30pm we were on our way out of the school and to the restaurant at jurong east for our dinner.
as there's only like 3 cars and the 20 of us cant fit in so 6 of us went by train. had fun chatting with another 2 teachers on the way.
we had a room to ourselves as we made resevervations earlier. anyway dinner only started at around 8pm so we had to wait for the other teachers to arrive. but in the meantime we played with the karaoke system in the room and had a fun time.
the food served was really great. one of the teacher who was retiring treated everyone of us to a abalone each. had a lot of fun time at the dinner as we ate, chat and sang.
ended the session at around 9:30pm then we made our way home. luckily a fellow colleague lived in my area so she drove me home.
schol ended early on friday as they celebrated family's day. left shortly after so was really tired.
didnt do anything much today. just cleared the marking needed then took a nap cause was having cramps.
this last week of may quite a number of people celebrating their birthdays. so here's wishing a belated one to this person.
