23 Dec --- Two days before flying off. Had a little Christmas party in the office with Sarpino's pizza and a lot of snacks =P Jowyn came over from KL to visit and also to fly off together to Taiwan with me. So after work on that day, my dad drove me to Golden Mile Complex to fetch her. After fetching her, we went back home for dinner since it was about 8:30pm when she reached.
24 Dec --- Inital plan was to go to Top 1 at Bugis to sing then walk around the area but when I woke up early in the morning it was already raining cats and dogs. Haiz... the whole plan flopped. Anyway, Jowyn and I went to Partyworld at Causeway Point instead to sing. After that we ate toast at Toast Box then shopped around the boring shopping centre for a bit before heading home. Haiz... it was really bad cause it rained like the whole day. After that we went Lot 1 to have Mango Ice =P
25 Dec --- Since our flight was at 1pm we had to be at the airport like at 11am so we left the house like 10 plus. Since my dad drove us there we reached there pretty early. After checking-in, we roamed around the airport taking pictures with the Mickey Mouse figurines they have. And it had been ages since my parents went to the airport so I sort of brought them around as we waited for time to pass. We had lunch there then Jowyn went through the gate for our flight to Taiwan. Since it was my first time on the plane I had quite a bit of fun time watching it take off and slowly watch as the plane got closer to the clouds =P yup I know it sounds a bit dumb but the view is really nice. Anyway, since after that it was pretty much normal, I fell asleep on the Airbus A320 =P haiz... should have brought a book along. At least I would have something to do but since it was too late I fell asleep for like 2 hours with my mp3 on. Hehe....
We arrived at Taoyuan International Airport at around 5:20pm which was 20mins earlier than expected. We took a bus from the airport to Taipei Main Station to meet Jowyn's friend who would get us to our hotel in Ximending. The bus ride was supposed to be NT125 per tix but the counter person only collected the price of one tix for both of us. Hehe... a happy thing from the first day of the trip =P In the one hour bus ride I was surfing on my phone. Hehe... but since the screen was so small I gave up.
We reached our hotel quite soon since it was easily located and although the room is a bit small without any windows but its still a good place. After putting our luggage in the hotel, we started roaming the streets of Ximending for a place to have our dinner since it was already 8pm or later. Anyway we settled into a Japanese restaurant for our very first meal in Taiwan. We had dinner and chatted as Jowyn and her friend looked through our itinerary and helped us to make some changes to it.

After dinner it was already past 10pm and most shops were already starting to close so we didn't do much expect to roam around a bit and took some photos at Ximending.
