In Taiwan (Part 3)

27 December 2008 --- Woke up early again to pack our things to prepare ourselves for our trip down to Kaohsiung. We caught the High Speed Rail at 9am and took the one and a half hour ride to our destination. On the train ride I fell asleep. Hehe...

After we arrived at Zuoying Train Station we took the MRT to the train station of our hotel.

Since we were early we couldn't go to our rooms yet so we check-in and left our luggage in the luggage area.

We embarked on your route to the Kaohsiung Arena after that. The place was not highly recommended or anything but because it so happened that our idols Fahrenheit were having an autograph session there in the afternoon.

Since it was like 12 plus when we reached, we decided to have our lunch first in the shopping centre situated there. The food court was so crowded that we had trouble looking for a place to seat but luckily we found one. I ordered a chicken set and it was really good. Not only does the food looks tempting, it was delicious as well.
At 1:30pm, we went to the event area and took our stand. There was supposed to appear at 2pm but there was a Band Fun event at the area as well so the event had its opening first.

The boys arrived at around 2:30pm and I got to say they have indeed improved. Although they went out of pitch a couple of times but at least they sang live and are improving. I really got to applaud the fans in Taiwan. They were really cooperative. The host saw that there were a lot of people present so she asked those in front to sit and all of them indeed sat down. Because of their cooperativeness all of us who were standing behind managed to get a good view of Fahrenheit performing.

After they sang 2 songs and had a short interview they started the autograph session for those who have pre-ordered the album. For us who didn't pre-order we still stick around and managed to get real close. Hehe... although we could not get on stage but we got all of their attention!!!

Well, of course we will get the attention since we have Sarah with us. Hehe... Since the organizer didn't block out those who are getting the autograph and those who are not, we managed to got to the side of the stage. That's when we got the attention of our boys! =)

of course we need all their attention. hehe...

I can only provide four photos because I have given exclusive to the forums so yup.

After the event ended, we were set to leave for Rouhe Night Market but before we left we were attracted to the Manga Festival which was being held at Kaohsiung Arena. Man, I got to admit those people are great. I heard that they did their own make-up and some of them are guys!

the 'mascot' of the Manga Festival

i was so shocked seeing the person with that super high heels

i seriously admire these two guys. great work done to look like the person in the manga

they definitely earned our admiration

After we finish admiring them, we took the train to Dream Mall where we took our ride on the ferris wheel.

We had to queue for an hour or so before we managed to get into the cabin cause we picked to ride in the transparent cabin and there is only 2 of it.

There was a plushie in the cabin and the four of us were all over it as the ferris wheel slowly climbed its way up to the top.

After the ferris wheel, we immediately made our way to Rouhe Night Market for our dinner since it was about 8pm already.

After some light dinner at the nightmarket we made our way to Love River. However at the train station something spectacular got our attention.

After some camwhoring at the station we left for our train ride to the next destination

We did a bit more of camwhoring after reaching the station where we need to alight.

I really like this photo a lot. Guess it would be going into my personal album. hehe...

After the visit to Love River, we made our way back to the hotel to wash ourselves up and prepare for bed.
