In Taiwan (Part 5)

29 December --- Jowyn and I woke up at around 7am that day. We bathed, packed our things and left the luggage at the reception. Then we took the shuttle bus from opposite our hotel to National Chi Nan University which was where Hana Kimi was filmed.

We met up with Jowyn's friend who is a student there. She brought us to the canteen where we got our breakfast. Then we went to the library after that so that she could tell us where to explore while she went off to settle some work.

We spent some time in the library after Jowyn's friend went for work. After exploring the library we started on our tour around the school to look at the shooting places of Hana Kimi.

At around 12:30pm or close to 1pm we made our way out of the school and back to our hotel.

However after we alighted we went to a warehouse situated nearby another bought quite a lot of local products. Hehe... Since Puli is famous for its wine, the whole warehouse sold products made of wine. There were wine sausages, wine chocolates, wine biscuits, etc. The surprising thing with wine was ice-cream and it was nice. We bought a lot of food stuff there back as well.

the wine peanut ice-cream I had tasted like the normal ice-cream

Initially Jowyn wanted to go to Sun Moon Lake with her friend while I made my way back to Taipei however it was raining so they decided to drop the plan. Hence Jowyn and I went to the bus station to catch an afternoon bus back from Puli to Taipei.

The bus journey was so long that I spent like half the journey sleeping. We only managed to get to Taipei Main Station at 7:30pm after like 4 hours of bus ride.

Since going back to Taipei that early was like kinda unexpected, we nearly could not get a hotel. Luckily Jowyn's friend managed to help us find one in ShiLin Night Market and Sarah was there to meet us at Taipei Main Station to bring us to the hotel. Luckily we had her to help us because it definitely helped us to find the hotel faster.

After setting our luggage and relieving ourselves we took the train and went to Ximending because we wanted to go to the Modern Toilet Restaurant situated there to give it a try and of course to have our late dinner.

desert of ice-cream to end off the meal although it didn't taste really nice

The overall atmostphere of the restaurant was rather good but the food was just alright only. I wouldn't really recommend that you go there for the food but if you want the ambience or see how is it like then it is fine.

After having our dinner we shopped around in Ximending for a bit before we bid goodbye. Since our hotel was in ShiLin Night Market, Jowyn and I took the chance to shop a bit before heading back to rest.

This post is already so backdated. Haiz... There's still about 3 more posts to ending this Taiwan trip so bear with it =P
